Pioneer Boot Camp.

I am honestly so proud of our teens! 90% our youth is on outreaches through out the week, even by themselves! I recently heard one of our teens watches "Way of the Master" videos for an hour before he goes on outreach so he is equipped to preach the Gospel with power! Many of them have also sacrificed a lot for Pioneer Boot Camp.

For all parents: know that you have great teens that are willing to do anything for Jesus!

I just wanted to write a reply to a comment left on the previous post. I think we all need to be reminded of something. Pioneer Boot Camp is a privilege! We are being allowed to go visit a smaller church, help them out, and learn from them. Any teen who wants to be sent out one day is getting a years worth of "Preacher Training" in one week.

Don't miss the point of the reason you are going on pioneer boot camp. We are a youth group with a bigger vision than ourselves! That is why we do PBC.

The comment asked if the t-shirt change was to save the church money. Seeing as each group was paying for their own that is obviously not the case; but even if it were we should be happy to save the church money that could be sent to Kenya for land, or Czech for their conference, Panama for their building, or used in our church for another need. And I know that when seen in that light any of our teens would be willing to give up a t-shirt for any of our other churches!

Why one color? Well we are one group. One united youth group willing to do whatever it takes to see souls saved and as ONE BIG GROUP not 6 little groups we are going to rock the United States for Jesus together!

Pioneer Boot Camp is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see all God does!

Youth Service 5-29-10

If you didn't go to youth tonight you missed out. we started the evening with an amazing song service as usual, then a hilarious skit from Final Word Productions about a lady named Miss Mips who was insulting everyone then Aaron came in and told everybody about Jesus. Mr. Tyler preached about harvesting souls and witnessing to people. There were five steps to get a good "crop" #1. make the soil ready. get rid of all the hard soil that isn't good to plant seeds-Hosea 10:12 #2. plant the seed. tell people about Jesus who are willing to receive Him- Luke8:11 #3. cultivate the crop. take care of it, water it, or continue to talk to the people who received Christ- 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 #4. Harvest the the crop. take it out of the ground- Psalms 126 #5. make ready the crop. prepare it for what you planted it to do, go preach the gospel. When you get saved you get the will of God, which is to see souls saved, and if you're not trying to get others saved you're probably not truly saved yourself. Afterwards we played a couple of games and then went home. Lastly, congratulations to all of the graduates this year!!!

Pronounce it please!

i thought this week we would do jokes instead of riddles!!!

Pronounce it please!: "Two tourists were driving through Louisiana. As they were approaching Natchitoches, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town. They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch.

As they stood at the counter, one tourist asked the 'blonde' employee: 'Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are at... VERY SLOWLY?'

The blonde girl leaned over the counter and said...
'Burrrrrrrr, Gerrrrrrr, Kiiiiing'"

a blonde, a red head, and a brunett were all taking a trip to the desert. the read head brought water and the blonde asked why. the red head replied " so we don't die of thirst"
then the blonde asked the brunnett why she brought food and the brunnet replied" so we don't starve to death" then the brunett asked the blonde what she brought and she replied" a car door so when it gets hot i can roll the window down."

a police officer stops a blonde for speeding an asks very nicely" can i have your license please?" the blonde replies in a huff " you guys need to get your act together yesterday one of you took my licence and now you want me to show it to you?!?!?!?!?!!?"

Please Pray For...

Please continue to pray for Mr. Mitch Grise. He is still in the hospital and the doctors say that he probably won't be able to work for about 4 months, so keep Mitch and Sue in your prayers, thank you.
