This is my last post as a youth blog author. I just want to express how excited Gail and I are to be stepping out to pioneer and that we leave the youth with confidence both in your ability to rock this world for Christ and in your new leaders Tyler and Shaunna. If, indeed, heaven is HIS throne and earth is HIS footstool, than we serve a BIG GOD! And He has everything under control, so we must, MUST (everybody say, 'MUST!'), be 'strong in the Lord and the power of HIS might.' When you face the world and experience fear, do it afraid. When you go through the hard times in your Christian walk, know that many have gone before you who not only endured but came out victorious! When you want so bad to quit, to give up, that's when you look around and recognize that you are not alone in this Faith Fight, you have a strong support group comprised of other youth, leaders, parents, other adults, and GOD ALMIGHTY who are clothed with the armor of God and are battling satan and all his devil's too. The armor does not have any article that provides protection for your back, so you best not turn and run, instead protect the back of the one in front and to the sides of you, and they'll be doing the same for you.; that is to say, we need eachother. Cut the bickering, back-biting, gossiping, counter-productive nonsense. Turn that frustration on the devil, for the chump that he is! You guys can do it!
I'm not sure if anyone will read this soon, but I trust that whatever happens with our VWO youth you all will help each other make it (that goes for the whole fellowship). Older youth, mentor the younger ones, lead by example, don't be one of these 'do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do' leaders. Nah, don't give them an excuse to sin or compromise, instead give them every reason to want to sell out for God, set the standard high and live by it no matter what. And younger youth, you're next!! That's right! What you've seen and heard concerning the older teens, God can do more, in fact He'll do'...exceeding abundantly all you could ever ask or think.' Or dream. Or ever wish to happen in your life serving Him. So dream BIG! Dream the impossible. HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
I'm telling you guys, THE BEST IS YET TO COME! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Let's get excited for Jesus! Will the devil be mad? Sure! Are we asking for trouble? Sure! But it ain't nuthin' new. Just keep doing what you're doing. Evangelize, testify, represent Christ, be fanatics, be JESUS FREAKS!
We love you all and anticipate awesome testimonies to come out of the youth. Pray for us, pray for Albuquerque, pray for all our new works, pray for all our not-so-new works, pray for that 'Superior Strategy', and pray for our headship, that God would continue leading them as they lead us.
